Enigma is a dream come true!

We were dreaming of importing a nice looking Danish NFO for several years. First we decided to get a female, but those plans vanished as we planned to keep a female kittens after Ninett (that never happened). Second, we were thinking of bringing one of our females to Denmark to meet a handsome fellow, but that plan just faded away. Next we found Enigma on the homepage of his breeder and we just knew that he was meant for us :)

Enigma has beautifully placed ears with nice size and tufts. He has got a long straight profile, a wonderful equilateral triangle and just the right NFO look. The body and legs are strongly built. He also has a nicely structured coat. But the best of all is his lovely temperament! Anyone who has met him at a cat show, will agree!

Enigma is even more beautiful than we dared to hope for and we are so grateful to Susanne and Kiri for entrusting him with us and for taking great care of him until he was old enough to move to us!

Enigma has so far gotten ten litters. Even though his girlfriends had different qualities, we think the offspring turned out quite even in type, no matter what. They all have remarkably nice temperaments and many of them have done nicely at cat shows. Names of his kittens and links to pictures can be found in the link offspring below. Five of Enigma's litters so far have been born in our cattery name. We are very proud of them all and we love to have some babies of his as they indeed are special, just like dad! Enigma prefers brown-looking girls and his big love is our Kiwawa. But, all girls are welcome, he says ;) We are of a different opinion, though... We have been quite restrictive when planning future babies of Enigma, as we do not wish to see his name in every pedigree in the future. No matter how much good a male can pass on to his kittens, it is not the least fun when it is impossible to find a partner to a cat that is not relatively closely related...

On his way to his European Champion title, he was at 22 shows as adult, and there attained 13 BIV (he has lost the certificate only once and the BIV three times), 15 NOM, 1 BOX and 3 BIS.

HCM test on April 18, 2005 and October 15, 2007 - Enigma is classified HCM normal at the age of 4 years 7 months and and at the age of 7 years 2 months by Björn Åblad. Both parents of Enigma is DNA tested against GSD IV and both are normal, meaning that Enigma is normal as well. Enigma was neutered on October 15, 2007 and it is lovely to see him living happily without hormones.
